Dear Members and Friends,
I am delighted to announce our upcoming DCCA Members Only trip to London, October 15 – 20, 2013. Trip highlights will include VIP entry to the Preview and all related events of the Frieze Art Fair, an international art fair that takes place in London each fall; a welcome dinner at the trendy Brompton Bar & Grill and a farewell dinner in an artist’s studio, two pre-dinner receptions in private homes, curator-led tours of museum exhibitions and private collections and visits to artists’ studios.
We will be staying for five nights at The Rembrandt Hotel, a luxury four-star London hotel situated in Knightsbridge close to Harrods and across the street from the Victoria and Albert Museum that combines elegant Edwardian architecture with contemporary design and serves a full buffet breakfast daily. You can arrange to arrive early or stay after our tour at a special reduced rate.
This trip is being custom-designed for DCCA Members Only and is being organized by Benefactor Travel, a division of the prestigious travel firm Hamilton Fitzjames, whose museum clients include The Whitney Museum of American Art, LACMA, ICA Boston, MCA Chicago, MIT Council for the Arts, The Getty and The Guggenheim, among others.
